There are advantages and disadvantages in my opinion.
Pro - Check out Too many young girls and boys in the shops do not ask for identification when you pay using a credit card or debit card. You can use the card or it may be that someone stole and tried to use them. If this is your card, identified by a fingerprint to the OP yes you are and not someone else tries to use them. When the card is stolen, or by a person other then the credit card / bank has on file and have access to this card, so the store employees would know immediately that the card had been stolen or used by a person authorized Store Security would not come into contact with the police. The fact that a large number of identity theft and theft would kill a rule only because it would be difficult for thieves to use to stolen cards.
- With Big Brother watching us always. Go to each store, every gas station to buy all the groceries, everything. Privacy does not exist. Not only that credit card companies or credit unions have their fingerprints on file (chopped banks, not much, but it happens. Several years ago, Bank of America hacked and it was something personal, and had 50,000 customers and has been stolen or compromised), but the fact the government and all the places you shop or buy ever. Ultimately, it would be easier for people to steal fingerprints (as in digital form) and used in crimes, so that wouldnt be caught, but the fingerprints of the person who robbed him.
In my opinion I think that someone you (employer, bank trust, company credit card), etc., to steal digital images of my fingerprints on file for everyone / usage / / hack to see. I see where it would do well in the form of identity theft - but we have so little privacy as it is, is that what they really want to give away more?
